There are three choices on the implementations page but two of them (vcXMLRPC Library and XML-RPC JavaScript Message Builder appear to require PHP or perl script) and one (jsolait.xmlrpc) does not.

I've got a couple of questions:

1. Why do two of the packages require additional help (PHP / Perl)...seems like we have a browser that can make HTTP calls, we have javascript that can marshal and unmarshall calls and we have html for forms and a crude user interface...we should be all set.

2. Looks like jsolait.xmlrpc is the most active (at least most recent) implementation of a js xml-rpc client...anybody had luck with this. I'm really anxious to get xml-rpc working in a browser.

3. In general, I'm looking to develop some cleint software that hits my xml-rpc server and I see doing it in a browser as the lowest barrier way to distribute to a user. Does that make sense?</body>
	</ticket>
