It is what it is, nothing less, nothing more. It's a record in the Internic database. It's an address in config.mainresponder.domains. It's a table in hmtlInterfaces.root on a certain machine. From there I can edit it, add things to it, and so can Brent.
What will it be in the future? In my mind I'm going to Carolina! Tell me. It could be anything that one can implement on a Turing machine with a net connection.
