Every year servicemen lose their jobs as a result of breaking the military honor code. The commander-in-chief should be held to the same high standard as those he commands.

The United States Military Academy (West Point) Cadet Honor Code is defined as "A cadet will not lie, cheat, or steal, nor tolerate those who do."

I'm sure there are other examples out there that the American people should expect their elected officials to live up to.

Claiming all politicians lie does nothing to solve the problem that all politicians lie. Neither does settling for politicians who lie while the country is doing well. Difficult as it is, in fact now is as good a time as any to go through this pain.
