"2.0" doesn't look like an integer to me

Perl may think that 2.0 is an int, but I'm not sure anyone else agrees ;-)

Your echo server converts booleans to integers too, by the way.

It also returns dateTime's as integers. ("19700101T01:00:00" is definitely not an integer).

I wonder what happens if I feed it a tag?
