In a response to "Mr. Nitpicker", Dave Winer gave some additional information on XML RPC types in this post:http://discuss.userland.com/msgReader$2135
IMHO, a client library must be able to represent each XML RPC type in a distinct way. There's nothing in the spec that says that a server should convert between types, so if it requires a boolean, for example, you have to be able to provide one.
