This issue can simply be taken care of in the xml-rpc protocol by cleaning up the specs.Currently, data (or "objects") is represented as:
textualValueRepresenationOfType where
could be , , etc. Now, simply replace (above)
.... with:
where
is a type of data representation which is common to any platform. All of xml-rpc data is encoded as 'string' or base64 string representations anyway. So here this is either or . For example:
examples.setStateFlag Of course, the question remains as to exactly what purpose does the tag serve anyway? But that's another topic...
