Problem with Frontier and Proxy
Author: Tom Fuerstner Posted: 1/27/1999; 5:15:48 AM Topic: Jini Jini Jini (Zzzzz?) Msg #: 2531 (In response to 2519) Prev/Next: 2530 / 2532
recently i have a lot of troubles using frontier from behind a corporate firewall. Especially with the tcp-verbs that are implemented directly into the kernel of frontier. E.G.: i want to youse the tcp.addressToName () command and all i get is an tcp error. Now my question is wether there is a possibility to tell these special verbs to use a predefined proxyserver and proxyport?
