null/nil value

If it's supposed to be returning an empty string, I think you have a bug in nirvana's server.
is an empty string because the default type for values is string. However, I think this example shows that a null/nil value would make sense in XML-RPC. At least it would make a lot of sense on my side (Java). Passing an empty string (or an empty struct or array) is not a very good way to express that the object does not exist.
