Thanks for the quick and lengthy response ! Mine will be shorter :)

After reading your message and thinking it over again maybe client-side callbacks aren't necessary... if the server knows which platform is sending the info. A simple and non-elegant solution is to put the info in the people table.

What are your thoughts about an extra parameter to know what platform is sending stuff ? Or maybe some other way of getting this information to the server ?

Any server-side callback will need this info to do the translation.
