Are you running behind webstar?

There was a thread on ScriptMeridian last year on this. The upshot was:

One of the parameters to system.verbs.traps.WWW[Omega].sdoc is called "user". This causes grief with html.processMacros when it tries to render {user.prefs.name}, because it says [Macro error: Can't find a sub-table named "user".].

If you change the macro call to {root.user.prefs.name} it will work.
