Rebol 2.1 (which I just downloaded) has a primitive operation "parse-xml" which takes the code as an argument, and returns what I think is the rebol equiv. of a hashtable.

It also has a command "upgrade" which connects to rebol.com and upgrades your installation. Now where have I seen that before? ;-)
