Menus.xml is extremely cool you can:

1) add- remove _any_ menu element 2) bind hotkeys to any action 3) create your own "dynamic" menus that can change every time you open them 4) create wholly new applications with their own menu (this is extreme, but possible) 5) create conditions for greying out certain options..
