What about Germany?

In Germany, we have a different situation that's equally painful.

Lawyers go around demanding money from web site owners for just linking to US products that apparently infringe German and European copyrights. http://www.heise.de/newsticker/data/atr-12.04.00-001/ (German)

You can have free speech in Germany, as long as you don't link to anybody ;-)
