I imagine that at first you could do something like the webBrowser set of verbs and the webBrowser agent to see what the default player is on the Mac and use that or the open player to play the songs, the call below plays the song in soundJam and you can also find out whether it is done playing and then move on to the next song in the list of files in the playlist.
