Movable type may be the invention of the Millenium, (I think so) but I'm not sure that makes the inventor the person of the millenium. Besides, movable type was just one of many small inventions that were required for the creation and distribution of cheap books. For person of the melenium I might choose someone who's solo works have stood the test of time, and touch our lives to this day. Mozart? Shakespeare?
