We have the IP issue nailed. You don't have to ship source. There's a Remove Source Code command in the Script menu. It works.http://www.scripting.com/frontier/snippets/removableSourceCode.html
I'd consider at this time a diversion from our mission. It would be worth diverting for something incredible like being part of the Windows install. But as you move back from that, it has to compete with other priorities. I'm sure you understand how this kind of thinking works.
