Yea. I started looking at the slope of the small triangle. 2 up / 5 across = 2/5. Then I looked at the large triangle. The height is 3, 1.5 times larger (2 * 1.5 = 3). For the 2 triangles to line up correctly, we need to keep the same slope. So, the length should also be 1.5 times larger. 5 * 1.5 = 7.5, but in the picture, the length is 8! That wasn't right.
