one thing that directhit may measure is the relavancy of the page summary that may or may not be supplied with the link.

this method could be used to determine if the page is useful if you take into account repeat visits to a link by the same user.

a page that gets consistenyly high return rates may be a better page than a page that gets many single visits.?? something to think about.
