>>Perl may think that 2.0 is an int, but I'm not sure anyone else agrees ;-):-) Yes, that's a bug in the marshaling. The change I suggested earlier (adding new datatypes to %scalars) doesn't affect the encoding, just the decoding :-(

We'll probably want to have a solid spec for how to handle that because Perl doesn't have booleans at all.
