XML-RPC character encoding
Author: Hannes Wallnöfer Posted: 1/20/1999; 6:49:41 AM Topic: WDDX Annotated DTD Msg #: 2295 (In response to 2249) Prev/Next: 2294 / 2296
Thanks for the info, Fredrik. Changing the XML declaration to in betty.rpc.client does indeed help from Frontier to Java, but XP only has a UTF8 XML writer, so messages from Java to Frontier are still mutilated. As a workaround, I'm now using my own non-encoding XML writer. The question is if the above would work on Mac - I think the Mac has its own (non ISO-8859-1) character encoding.
