I've gotton most of the News Site and console working, but even after updating my news.root and console.root with the latest samples, the links in the calendar on the static news page are calling objects in calendar.root that are not being created.

What is calendar.root?

Does the site have a #calendarRootURL directive somewhere? What is it's value?

If you are using the news.root available from frontier.userland.com, you should try adding a #calendarRootURL entry to the staticPage subtable. Its value should probably be the URL of the directory containing the dynamic news page.
