Just in passing; for those using the WIN32 client, it runs just about twice as fast if you permit it to blank the screen while it is running. That control can be found in the screen saver tab of the display properties.

Select SETI@HOME as your screen saver and look at its settings, and you'll find a checkbox for screen blanking. Make sure it's checked.
