My favorites page, with a dozen sources, takes 155 seconds.

The new-stories page was almost instantaneous today, either because it's a quiet day or because it's been shortened since the first incarnation.

Remember, Jakob N says if it takes even ten seconds, the mind will have wandered to an unacceptable extent.
