There is a possibility that a large installed user base for Linux comprised of corporate users will be done with the primary aim of forcing Microsoft to reduce prices on WindowsNT servers as the "real" goal as opposed to seeing Linux succeed. That way corporations can keep using WindowsNT (which might be what they really want to use) at much reduced prices.
