We tried to use the standard method Frontier has to serve HTTP in Macs, and Frontier runs NetEvents.

Running behind NetEvents is definitely not the standard way to use Frontier as a webserver.

Frontier 5.1 and above have built-in TCP support and a webserver framework. You can also run Frontier behind webservers like WebStar and WebTen on the Mac or behind IIS on Windows. See http://frontier.userland.com/ for details.
