Re: Ugly Content Manager URLs
Author: Dave Winer Posted: 8/19/1999; 10:31:50 AM Topic: Ugly Content Manager URLs Msg #: 9680 (In response to 9677) Prev/Next: 9679 / 9681
This suggests a new kind of browser that reads the links in the page and allows urls to navigate thru the content. If Microsoft wanted to work around this for us they could. For example, you could get to this page thru this url:
http://www.scripting.com/discuss/msgReader$9680
Because there's a link at the top of www.scripting.com called discuss.
(Don't report a broken link, it won't work.)
See what I'm saying? A logical kind of URL. It's a workaround.
Heh heh.
