The key difference is whether the UI is organized around printing to paper or printing to the web. It can work without a net connection. That's the Fractional Horsepower HTTP Server idea. A laptop plays both roles. I doubt if Microsoft's personal web server is up to it, but Frontier 6.0 can do it if you're a masochist, 6.1 will be much better, and 6.2 will be plug and play.
