Try SpellTools. I've been using it for a while now with some success. It's more than a spell checker. You can also setup text stamps and you can have it speak text for you if you have speech installed.

You may also want to check out Excalibur if you want to wire something up to Frontier. I think there may have been some work done in this area. Excalibur has been mentioned several times in the past on various Frontier related communications forums.
