I'm astonished at how many people I know that have 8MB 3D video cards installed in their PCs, but have them set to 640x480 16 colors because that's how they come out of the box.

Funny thing is that if I try to set the display to a higher resolution (usually spatial, not color) then they think things are "too small." Agh!

I wonder what the difference between a "newbie" and a "non-geek/normal person" is?
