Apple has a leg up on making the disappearing PC, firewireHigh end video equipment comes with firewire/ilink/iee1394 ports.
An early Samsung widescreen TV came with a firewire port.
Will we be able to work on future bigcreen HDTV using future Macs?
Poof, computer disappears, the live pause on your Replay TV activates when you surf the net in the middle of a TV program, and all those patch cables for the home theater system get condensed into 6 pin firewire cables, that plug into a firewire hub.
A more inviting potential, How about plugging in your laptop into the TV in a hotel? Are you going to do work on that widescreen 1600X1024 monitor or watch DVD's?
