You want what evolved into Macromedia Flash: SmartSkecth, FutureSketch or something like that. Have not used flash for a long time. Might be a simple as it used to be.

Charlie Jackson (silicon beach/future wave) had a crew that knew how to make drawing programs: SuperPaint, Digital Darkroom, and the above.

Of course, the electronic version Canvas is on sale for $129, at deneba. It's just not the old desk accessory version.
