Murphy still does the Mets radiocasts. He's paired with some guy whose name I don't remember, and they don't seem to get along too well. But they mellowed out as the Mets advanced through the playoffs.I'm a Yankee fan living in NYC, so I've been listening to the Yankee radiocasts all season. Without exception, I mute the TV announcers and turn on the radio. The guys who follow the team all year are always going to know more than the national announcers who are always going from team to team.
Of course, the best commentary is sitting in the stands with a friend and your scorecard, talking about the game. Nothing beats that.
