I doesn't sound any different than what Microsoft already has with Scriptlets, COM, and the Windows Scripting Host.You can write JavaScript (or VBScript, or Perl) as a COM component, and call it from just about anywhere.
What exactly is IBM doing that's new or different?
This was my reaction also. What's the point? Or is it just that MS has done such a poor job of evangelizing this technology that IBM didn't realize it existed?
