Since my name's been taken in vain in this thread...Dan, I hope I didn't offend or anything. I just wanted to point out that my initial reaction was "Hey, good idea!" but after reading your opinion I had second (and third & fourth) thoughts.
Something that forces people to think is a very good thing, imo.
I'm still trying to decide what to do on my weblog, and it's complicated by the fact that I head off that day for an 12 day roadtrip. Hmmmm.
