What I'm wondering is... if they are requring Windows and IE4+ then whats the benefit of doing a "webtop" vs. downloaded code?

At some level I'd rather be running code that uses "real widgets" vs. scripts coded against (inevitable) bugs in IE's Javascript and DOM implementation, especially if I'm running windows anyways.
