Agreed. The Mozilla project, if successful, will divorce the development of browser technology from the shackles of lock-in. What goes into the Windows version will go into the Mac version, unless it's something 100% Windows specific.My only concern is that Mozilla will end up with what Mac users regard as a bastardized interface. Mac users want Mac-like apps with Mac-like interfaces. If they're careful and mimic native widgets and functionality, the Mac community will embrace it. Unlike certain other operating systems, ours allows us to choose. :>
