I'd be interested in a cellphone that just did HTTP without any gateways. That's the one that's going to win. At least that's what my current newbie mindset says.

I don't mind if they use XML. I can emulate their XML in HTML. We have a scalable content system. I trust it.

BTW, the more I learn about this the more I wonder why Phone.Com gets such a huge valuation. The technology looks flawed, IMHO.
