Glue code isn't necessary when your callers and apps have the same processing characteristics. CORBA, for example, forces a strict processing match on all of it's language bindings (ick) so no glue code is ever needed (or it can be generated automatically, in the case of compiled languages). DCOP has very similar characteristics to Perl, Python, and TCL so I'd expect that those languages wouldn't need glue code for any specific KDE app.
