I always use paint. However, paint (at least on Win98 that I'm on right now) can only save in BMP and JPeg. Neither is great for screenshots on the web.

So, Dave, are you saying that you want Microsoft to add more functionality to the operating system. Improving screen capture support might put someone out of business...
