On A List Apart, they ran a piece about XHTML for web developers, an eye-opener, I think, for anyone deeply involved with the W3C processes. This is what the simplest of the new specs looks like to a skilled web developer. Reality-check time.http://www.alistapart.com/stories/xhtml/index.html
In the end he concludes that the answer is no, he won't use XHTML, because it forces him to change his coding style and there are no immediate benefits.
