Well, this is the first recording industry exec I've heard on the issue that was pretty honest about what is at stake:

"The [music] industry," Heckler said, "will take whatever steps it needs to protect itself and protect its revenue streams. It will not lose that revenue stream, no matter what."

At least he's not pretending to be concerned about artists being compensated, like most of the others who have spoken out on the issue.
