Where *is* Richard Stallman in this? I'm not saying Brett is right or wrong in his assertions, but it would be helpful to get a response from the horse's mouth, so to speak.Brent Glass spends lots of time writing about Richard Stallman.
Richard Stallman has responded to him in the past.
If you want to read stuff by RMS, he has three entire websites of his own.
Proprietary vs. Commercial
How exactly does Stallman differentiate between "proprietary" and "commercial"?
Oh, good. An easy question. ;-)
As RMS uses the terms, Frontier is both proprietary and commercial.
My latest hack is non-proprietary, but disgustingly commercial.
Cheers,
Eric
