Oh geez. Of course the person with access to the local machine has access to the passwords. Jeremy, they have to be stored somewhere.Manila has lightweight security. It's not Wiki, but it's not a commerce server either. There are lots of other web apps with the same kind of security. It works for what we're doing.
If you want to talk about improvements to membership, great let's do that. But don't start it with FUD.
