We just store the user name and password in the cookie, the same info you'd type into the dialog.

The pair point to a table where we can accumulate other kinds of information. Not sure I understand the question.

PS: I turned off HTML tags as some people pointed out they can spoil everything. The more things change the more they stay the same.
