Windows Scripting Host on Win 95/98
Author: Jim Roepcke Posted: 12/2/1998; 9:06:42 PM Topic: Windows Scripting Host on Win 95/98 Msg #: 711 Prev/Next: 710 / 712
Here's a question for WSH developers using Win95/98:Where does cscript.exe and wscript.exe reside on your hard drive?
On my NT setup, it's in the folder pointed to by file.getspecialfolderpath ("", "System", "") in Frontier.
(That's c:winntsystem32 here)
I'm hoping that with Win95/98, file.getspecialfolderpath ("", "System", "") works and points to the folder that cscript.exe and wscript.exe are in. (It would make life simpler ;-))
Thanks for your help,
Jim
