You may find Ward Cunningham's WikiWikiWeb concept interesting (http://c2.com/cgi/wiki?WikiWikiWeb). It is a WEB based groupware system that prevasively support user editing of content pages. A number of Wiki sites exist, either using Ward's original implementation or modeled after Ward's concepts.Allen Wirfs-Brock
