Impeach is a verb that means..

"to challenge the practices or honesty of; accuse; esp to bring a public official before the proper tribunal on a charge of wrong-doing."In other words, impeachment is not a verdict, it's an accusation. It's really beginning to concern me, perhaps the polls were measuring a lack of literacy, not any realistic belief on the part of voters. Remember those nuclear missiles deployed in submarines.
