I'd like to automate information searches of particular websites. I am a fair c programmer but don't know much about HTML or JAVA. My thought is to have a chronological process access a particular www site, download information, parse, and present. My trouble is accessing the www site w/o using a web browser. If I have to use a web browser, can HTML or JAVA be written to automatically access and download desired information. Any suggesstions are appreciated.
