My first experience with Barnes & Noble was just as frustrating. I had placed an order and got an order verifcation page back. When I didn't hear from them, I emailed them with a copy of the page attached. They said that they had no information on my order. From there, it was on to Amazon.com and I haven't been disappointed yet.
