They exist, but it is very difficult to find products on MS's sites unless they run on windows (... MS's own countdown to IE5 link sends you to press pass, which has no IE information listed [at least from NS]). Internet Explorer 5 for Solaris with Outlook Express Beta Internet Explorer 5 for HP with Outlook Express Beta http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/download/all.htm?bShowPageRumored to be relesaed on Mar 18. It would be nice to know if IE5, is IE5, or just IE windows only.
